It is finally official, Trevor  & I are married!

If you know me and my personality you know that your traditionally wedding is just not my style.

So when Trevor and I got engaged in May I had my work cut out for me trying to talk both of our families into my idea of what I wanted for my wedding!

 

I wanted it to be something private and special for Trevor & I yet I still wanted both of our families to get to celebrate this special day with us! We came to the conclusion that we would be married

August 24, 2012 in Park City and the next day we would have a dinner celebration with our family and close friends.

the morning of the 24th i woke up to a dozen gorgeous red roses from Trevor, he was definitely starting my day off right :]  we got all ready to go and went and dropped off Mckoy to my mom she offered to watch him for the night for us. then we made our way to the Park City Court House. It was just Trevor & I, the judge that married us and she was kind enough to provide 2 witnesses for us as well. It was exactly what i wanted! something so simple, yet sweet and special! After the wedding Trevor and I planned to spend the day and night in Park City. We stayed at the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Deer Valley and oh my was it beautiful! Trevor has a relative that works there and they got us a suite that was amazing! We went to the Alpine Slide and Alpine Coaster and then went to dinner at the Loco Lizard it was delicious! The whole day turned out to be just perfect!! It was exactly what i wanted!

the next evening we had a BBQ celebration with all of our close family and friends. Tonia and Mike Jardine did all of the food and decorations for it and it just turned out perfect! I was so grateful to see so many of our family and friends there to support us! the night was so great and I wouldn't have changed a single thing about it!

one year old already!

I can't believe my little baby is already 1!

Time has gone by way too quickly.

I am loving all the new things Mckoy does every day

but I can't help be a little sad that my little boy isn't so little anymore!

 

He turned one on July 28 and we had a fun day planned for him!

Of coarse he didn't really have a clue that it was a special day but it was still fun to do for him!

 

We started off letting Mckoy open up one of his presents he loved it!

 we then took him to Build-a-Bear to get his first Bear!

 

Later that night we had a Pirate Birthday Party planned for him

with all of our family and friends at my parents house!

My mom helped me plan and decorate for his party but

unfortunately the weather didn't cooperate and it was really windy so we

 weren't able to decorate with everything that i wanted to!

 But all of our family and friends made it a special day

for Mckoy! He was one spoiled little boy he went home

with tons and tons of new toys!

His first birthday ended up being a great one. I was a little emotional but in a good way!

Just amazing to see how much Mckoy has grown up it seems like just yesterday I

was holding him in my arms for the first time.

Alot has happened in the last 3 months. . .

i'm engaged!! Yay!!

We are getting married August 24, 2012!

i cannot wait for us to officially be a family!

The Hunger Games!

19 days and counting!

March 23rd cannot come fast enough,

I can't wait for The Hunger Games to come out!

I absolutely loved the book, it was amazing!

& I hope the movie doesn't disappoint!

unfortunately, i didn't get to spend Valentines Day with Mckoy

i had to work. But i took a few pics before i had to leave.

And he got to hang out with his cute cousin all day!

chuck e. cheese. . .

 A couple of weeks ago me and my sister 

decided to take Mckoy and Ivy to Chuck E. Cheese.

We thought Ivy would love it!

So for family night, my mom, dad, libbi,

dallin, tash, ivy, trevor, me and mckoy

all went and it turned out different than expected!

Mckoy is still a little too young to really know what was

going on but Ivy on the other hand ended up being pretty

scared of all the little kid rides they had there.

Then chuck E. cheese came out and she thought he was the scariest thing of all.

it was soo sad and funny. the night ended up being super fun still.

I think trevor and dallin played more games than all of us.

they were like little kids running from game to game trying to earn tickets.
